Winx Club Makeup Travel Bag from 2007

This one has to be one of my favorite merchandise and what's goes with that, most used by me.
I got this makeup bag from my mother who visited our family in Poland in 2007.
In 2007 Winx was a huge hit, much bigger than it was in Sweden and you could get almost everything with Winx on.
Winx Club is still popular in Poland, though maybe not as much as it used to be..
Now let's move on to the pictures:

As you can see the bag has Winx art on both sides.
Aisha is included,so this bag came out after season 2 was released (Winx are also in their s2 outfits).

 Close up on prints.
This bag has two zippers, one of them has a star accessory attached to it.
As you can see I use the bag a lot. Everytime we have to be away for a few days I pack my makeup in it.
It has plenty of space and many pockets. It even has a mirror so that it's owner can check on her makeup.
It is a child bag judging by the colors, but to be honest with you, I don't think that 7 years olds use that much make up if any, so it's secure to say that it was made with older fans in houghts ;)

Winx Club pencil case from 2006

Here comes a quick review of a Winx Club pencil case from 2005/2006.
As I mentioned in the Winx wallet post, this pencil case comes from the same collection:
To be honest with you, I never used this pencil case. I always saw it as being to pretty to use x3
The art is same as on the wallet, I guess whole collection had the same print and color scheme.

I think that this pencil case would make a great makeup bag, I would hate to get it dirty though.

Winx Club wallet from 2006

2006 was a good year for Winx Club in Sweden.
That\s basically the year when Winx was big here, it didn't stay that popular for long though, and with every year we were getting less and less merchandise.
Nowdays we can only buy dolls mainly, and through some websites you can order clothes for kids.
I had almost everything you could get in our local toy shops.
I still have one of these things, a Winx wallet that was part of a collection.
I also have a pencil case from the collection, and if I remember right you could also buy a kid sized backpack.
Big picture on the front. This group pic is my favorite from season 1. Bloom and Tecna look adorable on it :)
Backside full of glittery hearts and flowers
 Where the ends meet
 Winx logo
I stick the Flora sticker on because I thought that the inside was boring x)
There was also a Bloom sticker but I removed it.
When it comes to wallet's functionality it is very good for being a kid item.
You get 5 card slots. 3 on the outside and two behind the coin pocket and behind the 3 card slot part.
You get also 2 slots for banknotes
For being 8 years old it looks good.
In fact I've been using it since 2006 to high school, collage and work and it is still in one piece!
Yeah,it is a bit dirty but it still is still a good quality product :)

Tomorrow I'll blog about the pencil case from the same series

Winx Club City Girl Aisha Figurine by Witty Toys

Aisha or should I say Layla?
Gah,I hate the name change  that girl went through, but I'm going to call her Aisha (even though Layla fits her better in my opinion).

Aisha is not one of my favorites.
She is basically everything I'm not so I could never relate to her.
Her figurine though is my the least favorite and let me show you why:
Aisha looks fine when you see her like this but to be honest with you Aisha has a lot of paint job mistakes, or at least my figurine.
Aisha's skin tone should be in my opinion darker.
Her highlights are rarely that pink outside of the transformations
She has some paint chips like you can see on her bangs and her sleeve.
Her lips.. Not only they are too small for her, but they also gave bad shade on, and they are badly painted if you look closely.
It seems that Aisha has no mirror in her Alfea room.
Hair look fine, but they don't have enough volume in them.
Aisha comes with a cd player (after all,she loves dancing)
Her bodysuit looks boring, but I didn't even like this outfit in the series so yeah...
 Shoes look ok
Aisha has nice eyes though, even if they aren't exactly her shape.
 I like her profile

They really made her look bad in that lipstick but oh,well.
They were often bright in the second season so they are kinda spot on with that xP

That would be my whole City Girl  figurine collection.
I will blog about another merchandise tomorrow :)

Winx Club City Girl Tecna Figurine by Witty Toys

It's Tecna time folks!

Tecna was never a favorite of mine...
She is nothing like me and I could never related with her.
Her looks weren't that good until her Enchantix.
Season 4 is when Tecna got some brownie points from me because of her new style, but still she is the least liked Winx by me.

Her figurine thuogh is really cute, check it out:
Fairy of technology looking good in her season 5 outfit.
 Her face is really cute.
They actually went with a little darker lipstick on Tecna :)
I really like her body shape.
She looks like a snake and unnatural but hey, Winx were always unnaturally thin, so that's nothing new :D
Tecna also had a little computer which I managed to lost sadly :(
Lovely boots. They have so much volume to them. They look like if they were made out of a real leather and not plastic

 Tecna looking shy/surprised
I like her pixie haircut here :3

Winx Club City Girl Musa by Witty Toys

If you ask me Musa is probably the most real Winx character out of the group.
Her clothes are usually more mature looking than others clothes, her attitude is not sugarcoated like Flora's or Stella's, she's a tomboy,a singer, stands her ground and she has lost her mom when she was young.
All these makes her the strongest personality-wise character.
I was pissed when Rainbow made her more girly after the third season because she was one of the best characters in the show!

Luckily,Witty Toys made a good job on her and Musa is my second favorite figurine after Bloom:
Our fairy of music striking a pose for the camera ;D
Love her eyes and her pale lips.
Musa is a tomboy, she doesn't need to paint her lips rose pink.
She only needs dramatic eye makeup, her cool rock star outfits, and she's ready to rock on the scene :)
Her hairbun combined with long hair is also something to die for <3
Musa comes with a guitar shaped like 'W' in Winx.
The only thing that makes me give Witty Toys a thumb down is the messy paint spot on her pants near the pocket.
That was a bad and a lazy move on their side :T
 Gotta love Musa :D
She has the best hair out of all the figurines
 Sexy tomboy Musa <3
Musa is such a cool girl, I love her simple outfit
Yep,that's our girl Musa :)

Winx Club City Girl Stella Figurine by Witty Toys

Now it's time for our sunshine girl,Stella :)

Here's what I think about her:
This  Stella figurine is really nice.
Self confidence beams from her and the figurine captured Stella's personality well.
I only have some 'buts' about her eyes. They are a little bit too wide and the eyebrows aren't helping.
Stella looks like one of the bimbo mean girls.
And ofcourse the one lip syndrome these figurines seem to suffer....
Dress is nice, I love the layers
Her boots are cute too, though Flora's footwear looks much cooler and it doesn't stick to the legs as much as it does on Stella :)
Typical evil Stella, she loves to  pose in front of the camera :)
 Stella looking cute
Stella's accessory is an orange bag with a green decoratice bow
 That's a lot of hair :)
Stella must be Rapunzel of the Winx Club x)
 Flowing hair
I think that they should make Stella a bit more sunkissed, she us too pale to be from the kingdom of Solaria
Nice profile.
I may be a bit mean to Stella, but her ears look like monkey ears on this figurine, haha.
It makes her cute though :)

Next up is Musa :3
